Confers a 4+ unmodifiable save. Halves movement. Mega Armoured Nobs may not ride a boar, drive a vehicle (or bike), or throw stikkbombz. Mega Armour is also very unreliable. On a roll of 1 at the start of each turn, the Nob moves D6" in a random direction. If he falls of a moving vehicle, he will take a S3 hit on a 4+.
Mega Boostas allow Mega Armoured Nobz to reach combat quicker! Instead of halving movement, you only lose 1" of movement (an Nob with movement of 4" will then move 3" instead of the 2" that would normally be applied.
A Stikkbomb Chukka enables Mega Armoured Nobs to throw Stikkbommz and fire it's weapon as normal. You will need to pay an additional price for the type of ammunition however (frag or krak). In addition, the maximum range of the stikkbomb is 10", rather than the usual Strengthx2+2 for normal handheld stikkbombs.
Jetpacks allow the user to fly 3 times per battle, after which it is refuelled ready for the next. One boost will allow the Nob to fly 3D6", and more than one boost may be used in one movement phase. A Nob cannot run under these circumstances, although may enter combat without doubling it's move. Each time the pack is used, roll a D6. On a 2-6 the Nob is fine, on a roll of 1 the Nob flies 3D6" in a random direction. The pack explodes, and may not be used for the rest of the battle. Also place the blast marker above the Nob. He takes a S5 hit, while any other Orks take S4 hits on a 4+, including partials.
Iron Gobz make the Nob look more fearsome when he charges! Waaaggghh!! A Nob with an Iron Gob may re-roll one attack in the first turn of combat, only if he charges. The second roll must be accepted.
Bosspoles are worn by Nobz to make them look themselves look tough. They allow you to add +1 to your Nob's leadership for taking bottle tests. If the Nob is down or out of action, than it cannot not used. |
